MIXTAPE ALBUM COVER 2008!!
Did this piece for my boy Brandon back in savannah, Ga in 2008. It was going to be his mixtape cover for his hip hop album....if you look closely there are alot of themes going on.....corruption, the devil's grip on humanity with worldly desires, lust/sex, death, the 911 tragedy, and Obama's run for president. I haven't done a themed piece like this in a while...........
OL SKOOL DRAWINGS 2008:THE FIRST FIGHTING SPIRIT!!
This was the first fighting spirit drawing that I created after me and my late mother had a conversation about spirits and how the good and bad ones walk amongst us. By looking back on this drawing, I can see the evolution of my art style......who would have thought that a simple conversation would spawn a series of character drawings depicting an individual and their spirit battling it out with other spirits for the sake of their souls.........thanks mom.....I love you dearly!!!!

FIGHTING SPIRITS 2011: THE SWORDSMAN ODAYUNE
I'm about to jump back into these black and white drawings because I've been painting too much and I feel that my sword hasn't been sharp in a while. I love pen and ink....I believe that this is my strongest medium and I love the contrast of black and white...with a little gray. I'm gonna be doing more of these fighting spirit character drawings....especially in memory of my mother who passed a couple of days ago. I got the idea through a conversation with her in August of 2008 about how good and bad spirits follow people and it's your choice as an individual to choose the paths of righteousness or corruption.
The swordsman Odayune is just one of many characters that I'll be creating.......if my heart is in it I may do some fighting spirits one shot comics....we'll see what the future holds........

SWORD HEAD!!
The Woodshop teacher at my school gave me a ton of scrap wood from his class and this was one of the more uniquely shaped pieces in the bunch. The kids in my class said it looks like a giant sword from final fantasy. I told them that I had a vision for it and I immediately primed it with water based KILZ and added some textures with the gesso after wards. This is the result! Acrylic and Oil Marker on an 8x42 wood panel.

THE FORGOTTEN PAINTING FROM 2009: THE DESCENT!!
I did this painting in 2009 for my solo art show and it's been hanging on my wall since. I don't know how I managed to not take pictures of it. It's one of those paintings that I'll probably keep because I was working with a different technique, like my skateboard and the Ridin' piece. Mixed media on 11x43 wood panel.
